Nep12: NepTech’s flagship range of electric vessels

The Nep12 range from NepTech offers a series of modular electric or hybrid vessels designed to meet a variety of maritime and river transport needs. With proven designs and adaptable architectures, these vessels offer performance, energy efficiency and versatility. With a length of 11.90 metres and a beam of 5 metres (depending on the model), the range is based on low-carbon propulsion: 100% electric or hybrid, and can navigate at between 4 and 20 knots.

The vessels in the Nep12 range have a range of over 400 nm at low speed, thanks to an optimised energy architecture. The Watertaxi model achieves up to 482 nm. However, range decreases significantly as speed increases: above 14 knots, it is generally less than 40 nm. Each project therefore needs to find a compromise between operating speed and range, depending on the intended use.

The Nep12 range is based on a modular propulsion architecture incorporating low-carbon energy and propulsion solutions. The propulsion systems, energy storage systems and their integration are specifically designed to meet the operational needs of each version (passenger transport, freight, urban shuttle, etc.). Configurations are adjusted according to speed and range objectives, guaranteeing optimum energy performance for each use.
