On Monday, September 23, NepTech had the honor of participating in Le Grand Bain, the flagship event organized by La French Tech Aix-Marseille Région Sud, focused on sustainable and inclusive technology. This year’s edition was held at Palais du Pharo in Marseille and gathered numerous startups and key players in the ecosystem to discuss the future of low-carbon mobility and other pressing technological challenges.
An inspiring event for a sustainable future
The day was filled with inspiring talks. The event opened with Benoît Payan, Mayor of Marseille, followed by a one-on-one discussion between Julie Davico-Pahin, President of French Tech Aix-Marseille, and Martine Vassal, President of the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis. Several influential figures from the technology and entrepreneurial sectors then shared their visions for the future, including Luc Julia, an artificial intelligence expert (Apple, Samsung, Renault), during a panel discussion on “The Future of Tech,” with speakers from Microsoft, CMA CGM, SNCF, and Crosscall.
Among the highlights, François Pachet, former director of Spotify’s Creative Technology Lab, captivated the audience, while Antoine Hubert, founder of Ÿnsect, highlighted the importance of innovative solutions for the environment. World swimming champion and entrepreneur Camille Lacourt closed the speeches. The day ended on a festive note with a networking evening by the sea, where discussions continued in a relaxed atmosphere, fostering new synergies around low-carbon mobility and the key topics explored during the day.
