To validate the innovations unveiled, NepTech built a reduced-scale technological demonstrator. Scale 1/7th: 2 m 50 long, 1 m 30 wide, 1 m 50 high.

The design of the demonstrator meets several objectives:

– Validate the vessel’s maneuvering performance
– Validate perception and control systems
– validate the vessel’s hydrodynamic performance
– Validate propulsion performance (batteries / H2)
– Validate bio-sourced composite material manufacturing

The demonstrator made its first appearance at Vivatech, a major technology trade show in Paris, at the heart of the Stand of the South Region – Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur. It was then launched for initial tests in the Lac of Peyrolles, located in the north of Aix-en-Provence.

At the beginning of July, the demonstrator carried on with the series of tests, this time in a marine environment in Monaco, during the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge event organized by the Yacht Club de Monaco. Tests then continued in the Loire estuary, near Nantes.
